We're delighted that Dr Suzanne Martin, from Ulster University has been awarded the highest honours the COT can bestow upon any of its members.  The Fellowship Awards are given in recognition of the outstanding contribution made to the Occupational Therapy profession throughout a persons career.

Suzanne is a friend and inspiration to me personally and as an Occupational Therapist.  Having worked closely together on our KTP Research project with Ulster University I can happily endorse Suzanne as being a very worthy recipient of this award as she is a dedicated and prominent member of the OT profession.  Specifically, Suzanne is very dedicated to new research and contributing to the evidence base, so much so that she secured over £2million in funding for various studies, which is amazing.

COT said,

"She is an excellent ambassador for the profession in Northern Ireland and her innovative clinical and research contributions have attracted acclaim throughout her career."
